Drake scoops most awards at #AMAs

Canadian artist Drake proved exactly why 2016 was a great year for him, after bagging the most awards at the 2016 American Music Awards (AMAs).

The awards show took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at the weekend.

American model Gigi Hadid and comedian Jay Pharoah were the hosts of this year's AMAs.

Bruno Mars, Fifth Harmony, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj,Lady Gaga, John Legend and Shawn Mendes all took the stage and performed their hit singles.

Green Day stood out from the rest when they slammed Donald Trump during their performance of 'Bang Bang'.

The band's lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong chanted 'No Trump, no K.K.K., no fascist U.S.A" while being on stage.


Gigi took a shot at Trumps's wife Melania Trump by poking fun at her accent and plagiarised speech.
