Serena Williams Jewellery launches limited-edition necklaces #GirlTalkZA

Serena Williams has announced that she has personally decided to add 100 more necklaces to Serena Williams Jewellery's Unstoppable Collection, which will include a personal thank you note. 

Serena Williams announced on Instagram on Saturday, 26 September 2020, that her jewellery line, Serena Williams Jewellery, has added limited-edition necklaces to the Unstoppable Collection. 

The brand called on customers to share their personal stories of why they believe that they are unstoppable, in promotion of the collection's mission to empower women to realise all that they are capable of.

Serena stated, "I'm so inspired by all of you who have shared what makes you unstoppable. Because each of you is one in a hundred, I signed a thank you note that will come with your limited-edition necklace!"

The Unstoppable Collection now includes 100 limited-edition necklaces in 14 carat gold with a diamond accent. The necklaces come in yellow gold, and show a round pendent with a bar placed on top of it.

Mihlali Ndamase used her Instagram profile to endorse the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, claiming that it serves multiple purposes, such as nourishing her dry hands and lips. 

Mihlali Ndamase took to Instagram on Thursday, 24 September 2020, to endorse the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, which also serves as a skin protectant. 

The limited-edition cream is part of the newly released range from the beauty and skincare brand, which includes lip and skincare products to moisturise and hydrate the skin.

According to the Elizabeth Arden website, the cream is described as one that "works wonders to shape brows [and] add shine to lips and cheeks," which Mihlali attested to in the caption to her post.

The range is currently available at Edgars stores nationwide, retailing at R315. Mihlali has had a long-term endorsement partnership with Edgars, as she continually reviews various beauty products sold by the popular retailer.

DJ Zinhle and Kairo rock mother-daughter collection from her accessories brand #HeritageDay

DJ Zinhle showcased the matching watch and bracelet set worn by herself and her daughter, Kairo Forbes, from her accessories brand, Era By DJ Zinhle. 

DJ Zinhle took to Instagram yesterday, 22 September 2020, to show off the pieces chosen by her and her daughter, Kairo, from her watch and jewellery brand, Era By DJ Zinhle. 

The pair donned the Mommy & Me combo from the brand, which was specifically designed using their ideas and preferences. Priced at R1 299, the combo comes with two legacy watches; one in a smaller size to fit a child's wrist, and a larger size for an adult.

For the Instagram post, DJ Zinhle chose to mix and match using the blue face to match Kairo's pink face. 

The business owner accessorised further with three Gold Precious Bracelets, priced at R429 each, whilst Kairo wore a children's bracelet with wooden and silver pendants.

Does the height of a partner matter in a relationship? Are men always supposed to be taller than their partners? 

Well, that is the question that drove Mzansi into overdrive after a couple was seen in widely circulating pictures celebrating their baby shower. 

The lady, who is taller than her partner, can be seen seated on his lap and the two seemed to have been enjoying the moment. 

It raised a lot of questions about the power of height in a relationship. 

"Naturally I think a guy is supposed to be taller than his woman. It looks very odd and embarrassing for a lady to be taller than her partner," said Nosipho Sakala. 

Well, many women do feel embarrassed to be seen with a shorter partner in public. 

The reason is because society is very judgemental when it comes to dating. 

But isn't that supposed to be a decision two people make? 

"While love is between two people, it just doesn't end there. There will always be a third force. So it's not surprising that people now date their partners according to what people will say," said Tatiana.

Suffocate has no plans of leaving Rhythm City despite widespread rumours

He plays a fearless character on popular e.tv Soapie Rhythm City and just like his on screen character, he has come out boldly to dispel any rumours that he is quitting the Soapie. 

Mduduzi Mabaso, who plays Rhythm City's longest-running character Suffocate has taken on other roles throughout his career.

He also has no plans of leaving the show soon. 

Mabaso has been with Rhythm City for over 13 years and he has won several fans during his time.

Last week, many viewers were left in tears after he was seemingly gunned down by Pearl. But it was just a dream. 

There have been widespread rumours of his departure from the show. 

The streetwise character has narrowly escaped death on numerous occasions, but has always managed to come out triumphant in the end.

Whilst on Rhythm City, Mduduzi has also taken supporting roles on other weeknight soapies, such as eTV's Imbewu, causing fans to speculate that he attempted to explore other opportunities away from the show. 

The 44-year-old actor has addressed the rumours numerous times in local media reports, and claimed that he has given his full loyalty to the eTV series, despite taking on other roles. 

We have seen the upcoming alerts and previews of the upcoming episodes of Rhythm City and it seems Suffocate still remains a prominent character with no plans of him being killed off.

So hang on tight, Suffocate is here to stay.

Despite coming from a family of revered politicians and being the daughter of the world's most prolific statesman, the late Nelson Mandela, Zindzi was an amazing human being whose life will continue to be celebrated for centuries to come. 

She impacted several lives and influenced society through her marvelous poetry. 

Poetry is well known for its uniqueness and ability to relay a message no other art form can.

Zindzi's poetry anthology Black As I Am opens with A Tree Was Chopped Down , which pays tribute to her father. 

It also explores the effects of growing up in a family whose structure had been bulldozed by the apartheid regime. 

The restoration of the black family structure, heteronormative at the time, was an important aspect of the liberation movement. South Africa's economy was built and continues to exploit parents living away from their homes for economic reasons. 

Under apartheid, influx control worsened the conditions of families because of restrictions on living together in urban centres.

This issue also features several deep thought poetry, interviews and stories about poets that matter.
