Craz-e presenter Morena Sefatsa moves on

Former ‘Craz-e’ presenter Morena Sefatsa has left his career in children’s television behind, to spend more time on his dream of having a successful music career.

According to the Sunday Sun, 26-year-old Sefatsa has resigned from his job as kiddies TV presenter and producer, so he can take his music more seriously.

Sefatsa last year took the first step in his music career, when he released a single called ‘Faith Alive’ under his stage name, ‘Morena The Squire’, which was well received.

Speaking to the paper, an insider said Sefatsa has dreamed about taking the big step of spending more of his time on his music for a very long time.

“His music is doing well, so he quit TV. And most of his friends are artists,” the source said.

“It must have been very hard for the boy to see his peers do what he also does and succeed while he has to be trapped producing a kiddies programme.”

When approached for comment, Sefatsa confirmed that he has quit his job as producer of weekly ‘Craz-e’ hip hop show, ‘Shiz Niz’.

“The plan was to focus on my music and the single is doing well,” he said.

Sefatsa also confirmed that he has joined live SABC breakfast show, ‘Mzansi Insider’.

“It’s a great show right now,” he said of his new job.

“As I’m speaking to you, I’m busy with the script for the first show.”
