Ronan Keating headed for SA in June

Pop singer Ronan Keating will soon be gracing South African shores for a two-city tour of the country, as part of his ‘Time of My Life’ word tour.

Breaking onto the music scene in the 90s, as a member of Irish pop group Boyzone, Keating embarked on a career as a solo artist in 1999. He gained worldwide attention after his cover version of popular song, “When You Say Nothing at All”, featured in blockbuster film ‘Notting Hill’.

This first solo single went on to become a chart-topper in the United Kingdom, and Keating soon after released his first solo album, ‘Ronan’, which featured three other hit songs in ‘Life Is a Rollercoaster’, ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ and ‘Lovin’ Each Day’.

Keating in February 2016 released his tenth album, entitled ‘Time of My Life’, as part of a new three-album contract with Decca Records.

Speaking about this new album, the 37-year-old singer says on his website: “It’s taken a year to write but in that time I have given the most honest piece of me.”

Touring SA in support of ‘Time of My Life’, Keating will perform one show in Cape Town, at the GrandWest Grand Arena on 17 August.

He will, however, perform four shows in Johannesburg, at the Montecasino Teatro on 18, 19, 20 and 21 August.

Ticket cost between R405 – R775, and will go on sale at 9am, on Friday, 1 April, from Big Concerts and Computicket.
