The South African Film & Television Awards – SAFTA’s Winners

Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg played host to a night of glamour and celebration on Friday and Sunday night for the annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).

The winner of the Best Presenter category was hotly contested because it was the first time it had been added to the list of categories and the winner was based on public vote.

Katlego Maboe from Expresso scooped the coveted award from the likes of Bonang Matheba and Lungile Radu.

Brenda Ngxoli proved her prowess by winning two awards for her supporting roles in different genres – drama and comedy.

All the people who were nominated were firm favourites but there could only be one victor. If you missed out on who that was, here is a comprehensive list of the winners.
