Minnie Dlamini calls it a day... At least for now

Minnie Dlamini Jones took to Twitter on Tuesday, 20 October 2020, to announce that she will be taking a break from TV, in anticipation for the birth of her son who is expected in late 2020.

The Homeground presenter hosted her last show for 2020 on Monday, 19 October 2020, and is expected to only return to the sport and lifestyle show in 2021.

She stated, "What [do] you know about a [mom that is] about to pop. I've had the most amazing journey and I can't wait to meet my child. See you on TV [in] 2021, I'm out."

Minnie and her husband, Quinton Jones, announced their pregnancy in September 2020, and revealed that they are expecting a son in early October 2020.

After the announcement, the television personality continued to present Homeground alongside co-host, Lungile Radu, who will continue in Minnie's absence.
