American mega star Beyonce once said in her song Check On it, "If you got it, flaunt it" and that's exactly what we believe Free State born singer Skolopad was going for when she wore her revealing yellow dress on the Metro FM Awards black carpet this past weekend.
Social media went into frenzy when she walked the red carpet with many hurling insults at her but she wasn't even bothered. Skolopad went on to pull her dress to reveal a tattoo on her bum.
So why did Skolopad go to such extremes for attention? Well it seems it was all to promote her budding music career, ever since the red carpet incident she has been trending, and she is using the hype to get some traction for her music.
"Riky Rick said we must release out music on internet. I'm release #Umzimba today at 12:30. Support me guys," Skolopad tweeted yesterday.
Even though some people were unimpressed with her way of getting the attention, she is making sure she has the last laugh and benefiting from it.
