Taste: The latest incarnation of this wine displays an inviting aroma of beurre noizette (burnt butter) accompanied by notes of roasted almonds that emerge as a result of the wines judicious exposure to wood. On the palate, there are flavours of fresh ripe pineapple and green apple.

Feel: Overall, the wine is well balanced and complex, combining fresh citrus and elegant layers of sensory enjoyment typical of premier Chardonnays.

This Chardonnay is made from 50% of Franschhoek estate grapes and 50% from Elim(Agulhas). On the nose it has a warm inviting beurre noizette (burnt butter) and roasted almond notes from the time it spent in wood. Fresh ripe
pineapple and green apple flavours follows onto the palate. A well balanced and complex wine combining fresh citrus and classic rich buttery Chardonnay aromas.
