5 things women do when they are cheating #GirlTalkZA

We have been conditioned and programmed to believe that men cheat most however the gap is fast closing.

More and more women are stepping out of their marriages and partners for reasons best known to them.

While it may difficult to find out exactly when a woman is cheating, there are certain behaviors she will display that can give her away.

To identify whether she is cheating, below are signs you need to watch out for:

1. She nags a lot

Granted women can nag and that is nothing unusual. But what you need to watch is her constant nagging. She will nag about everything from the smallest to the biggest issues. If this is happening it could indicative of trouble. She will begin to magnify her partner's imperfections and if she is smitten by the other man she will use that as an excuse to break up.

2. The 'We're just friends' line

This is a classic explanation women used when asked about the other man. If you ask her, pay attention to hw acts and answers. If she's uneasy and refuses to give you eye contact and divulge more, chances are she is seeing him.

3. She's distracted

Women are naturally great listeners and attentive creatures. If you notice she is losing interest and barely pays attention to what you're saying, that means something else is playing on their minds. If she is serious about the other man, chances are her mind is occupied with ways she can leave you.

4. Backs out of confrontations

When asked directly by her significant other whether she is cheating or not, chances are she will not admit and try everything possible to avoid confrontation. She will remain silent, leave the conversation hanging or turn it around on you.

5. Loses interest in physical intimacy

No matter how good she was getting it, she will lose interest in having sex if there is another man in her life. In most instances, this could the reason why she will pull away, act cold and distant. Kisses are quick and hugs are short could be a sign she is not interested in intimacy. Reason being she could be getting it elsewhere.

Poems have an amazing way with the soul. Just like music. Imagine listening to soft music and reading your favourite poems.

Or better still imagine listening to Christmas jazz music and reading Christmas poems? That's awesome!

The spirit of Christmas would just spring up and everything else would step back.

Afro Poetry Times has a special December edition that is entirely dedicated to Christmas.

It features classical Christmas poems to whisk your soul away and inspire your festive season cheer.

There is also an amazing unpublished four page narrative from an author about a typical Christmas in Africa. This is an amazing read which will definitely spring up the joys of the season in your heart.

Christmas isn't dead like most people would argue. The things which make Christmas a joy are now fewer.

Kings of Joburg gets #Netflix buzzing

Kings of Jo'burg premiered on Netflix South Africa on the 4th of December, as confirmed in an Instagram post by Shona Ferguson.

The series, produced by Ferguson Films, has been in development for over two years and, with production having concluded in early 2020, fans of the actor and producer were left wondering if the series would ever make it to air.

In early November 2020, Ferguson Films surprised fans with the news that the series would be releasing exclusively on Netflix, making it one of the few original South African productions on the international streaming platform.

Kings of Jo'burg centres around the underhanded business world of Johannesburg, which comprises vengeance, violence and many types of illegal activities.

The storyline focuses on Simon "Vader" Masire, a member of the prominent gang, the KOJ Brotherhood.

As he leads the family business to success, things get complicated when his young brother, Mogomotsi "Mo" Masire, returns from jail and is forced to choose between honouring his family's legacy or respecting his brother's decision to leave that life behind.

#Review: #Belgravia Blackberry Gin and Whitley Neill's Blood Orange Gin. The gin worth trying, is the gin worth having

It's been a dull December for me and my blog.

Goodie bags and gifts have rarely been sent to me because of Covid-19 that's currently tearing the world apart.

For someone who enjoys writing and reviewing, you can relate to my pain.

Anyway not so long ago I got two bottles of gin from my good friends who do the PR for Whitley Neill and Belgravia.

Gin has become one of the most famous things on South African soil. Talk about Ginimbi's and tonic and you have the best life you could ever imagine.

Anyway the gins I reviewed were Belgravia's new Blackberry gin as well as Whitley Neill's Blood Orange gin.

With Christmas fast approaching, alcohol sales are shooting up as people try to select which liqour they will be drinking this festive season.

Please....  And I mean pretty please put these two gins on your wish list. Not only are the flavours amazing, you can do wonders with these gins. From cocktails to pretty much anything.

They are also so affordable.

Belgravia Blackberry gin

The aroma that greets you when you open this gin screams 'ngithathe' which literally means take me.

It comes in a clear bottle and it's bright blue colour would make anyone salivate before tasting the gin.

This gin was crafted to sheer perfection and it oozes some great tasting notes.

Its aroma is reflected in its taste. If you like the taste of blackberries, you will definitely feel like you are having blackberries in a glass.

So go on, indulge and make the most of your Christmas with this remarkably sensational gin.

It pairs well with your favourite tonic but i would highly recommend Hall and Bramley Blue Tonic for that extra smooth finish.

You can get it for less than R150.

Whitley Neill's Blood Orange Gin

When one looks at the history of Whitley Neill's crafted gin, it's safe to say that they have come a long way.

Their latest mastercract is the Blood Orange Gin.

Don't let the name mislead you. It is distiled with Blood Oranges which are found mostly in Sevilla, Spain.

This delicate fruit has a unique flavour of its own. So imagine it in gin. Hmmm the rest as they say - is history. The fruity burst of Sicilian blood oranges simply enriches the flavour and plays tantalizing tunes on one's pallet.

The Blood Orange Gin comes in an attractive orange bottle which oozes out the trendy art of craft gin.

The taste is so special. It boasts of bright and zesty aromas with a smooth finish.

It is smooth to both the palate and throat and what's Christmas without craft and gin?

This gin tastes like Christmas. One of the best gins I've ever tasted by a country mile. It can be bought online or at leading liqour retailers.

It goes well with a mixer of your choice or those timeless cocktails but I enjoyed it with Hall and Bramley Indian Tonic.

#Review: The Pieter Cruythoff Brut is a timeless classic

The dimension is slowly moving to sparkling wine because of the flavour and sense of celebration these wines ooze.

The Pieter Cruythoff Brut is a timeless classic and it is now readily available across the country.

With several awards to its name, this can easily fit into any family event or function over the festive season.

It is a crisp, chardonnay based bubble that gently airs tones of Granny Smith and almond.

The taste profile makes it a firm favourite for those who like Chardonnay.

It is dry but fruity with a complex nose of tropical fruit and enhancing biscuit flavours.

Crisp acid ensures a fresh, clean and very drinkable sparkling wine.

I enjoyed pairing it with fish and I think it pairs well with savoury dishes and snacks.

That's the beauty of sparkling wines - the pairing.

You can get this gem of sparkling wine without breaking the bank for less than R100.

What's a celebration without #Villiera's Tradition Rose Brut MCC?

It's been a tough year!

One full of many shocks, surprises and of course Covid-19.

At one time, everything was under lockdown and we could rarely get our favourite beverages.

But one thing that's worth celebrating is that we beat the challenges and the sun is shining again.

What better way to celebrate the year than with a glass of sparkling wine?

I would highly recommend Villiera's sparkling wine range.

Traditional Rose Brut (12% Abv)

This Traditional Rose Brut is a pure classic and it can turn any celebration into a 'spectacular'

According to the fact sheet, slightly unripe healthy grapes are harvested  early in the season by hand.

It is made from 35 % Pinot Noir, 30 % Chardonnay 30 % Pinotage, 5 % Pinot Meunier.

The aroma when the bottle pops reveals all the flavours contained in the sparkling wine.

It's taste is so rich and a wine connoseur can be left smiling from ear to ear.

The taste profile is pretty diverse but the strong strawberry taste is easily noticeable.

Hints of red fruit, cream and some rhubarb are present.

The cascading bubbles add so much to it.

It is best paired with delicate cheeses and sushi.

One can a 750ml bottle at Woolworths or leading liqour retailers. Or even online at www.villiera.com

2020 has been an amazing year for Master KG and his celebrating #FridayFeeling

Master KG is on a clear winning streak and considering there are other music streaming platforms where people listened to his songs, this means Jerusalema did unbelievable numbers across the board.

In addition to the eight awards he's bagged in the last few weeks, the DJ was recently nominated for yet another prestigious award.

Certainly the "too blessed to be stressed" poster boy, Master KG took to his Twitter last week to express his gratitude over being selected among Africa's very best talent to contest for the Best African Act at the 2020 MOBO Awards.

"Nominated at this year #MOBOAwards Damn So Blessed to be part of this," the DJ tweeted before asking his fans to vote for him.

The MOBO Awards are dubbed UK's biggest celebration of black music and culture. They will take place on December 9, live-streamed for the very first time on YouTube.

Master KG is nominated among the likes of Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Stonebwoy.
