"Now we all know I'm a big fan of having a clean home, but if your house ain't smelling right once you're done cleaning, it's kind of pointless in a way," said David Lockridge (@davidlockridge).
The odor fighting master concocted a mixture that consisted of half water and half fabric softener.
The cleaning, lifestyle and grooming expert explained how any softener of your choice will do the stink erasing trick.
David then shook the bottle to mix everything together and make some cleaning magic.
With his fabric freshener in hand, the cleaning guru started spraying household items including pillows and curtains.
"This will knock out any stink odors that you may have on the fabrics inside your home," he explained.
David also shared why his freshener was better than store brands such as Febreze: "They can be pricey and the scent doesn't even last long."
He continued to spray his living area including all over his sofa with the affordable mix that cost him $1 in total with the fabric softener.
David had certainly found some fans of his cleaning method.
"I just know your house smells so good, I love everything you do and I'm keeping up thank you," said one enthused viewer.
"Thank you for always supporting!," David replied.
"Your home is so beautiful. So clean and organized," exclaimed another impressed follower.
The DIYer explained that he also used the freshener for his pillows, headboard, bed, dining chairs and anywhere else he had fabrics in the home.
"Your home will smell like fresh laundry for hours."
One follower had her own question: "Does it leave a sticky residue?"
"No, with the water added it makes the perfect mixture!" David emphasized.
