A woman who opened a hair and beauty salon in a very unusual location says clients are left stunned when they turn up.
She said she was initially "really worried" about the location but the unusual venture has been a success with customers since it opened in August.
The salon draws clients from surrounding areas due to its proximity to a bypass.
Sinead told Edinburgh Live: "I was just waiting for the right space really.
"I asked a couple of years ago if the building could be a salon but it wasn't available. Then I actually asked again this year and it was.
"I was really worried to start with as people were sceptical about the location as we are on a farm but it's worked out very well.
"People drive to us from different towns as we have parking spaces and are close to the bypass."
Sinead says opening the business on the farm has been a long held dream - although she admits some people still struggle to locate the premises.
She added: "Because I live in Danderhall, I used to get leaflets coming through the door informing us of the plans to build at Shawfair, so I just always thought about opening a salon in that area - no other reason really as to why I wanted to be based there.
"I mean, people do sometimes find it hard to find us as we look like a cottage as it used to be an old bothy. I am just so happy to be open as it's the area that I have always wanted to be located."
Boujee offers clients a range of treatments including hair, make-up, extensions, lashes and nails.
