Monday, 20 June, Joburg’s elite braced the cold and headed to the super chic Randlords Venue to launch the new product available from Twincare International: Biosense.
Biosense is a professional South African hair-care brand that has been around for more than 20 years. Biosense is made up of three 3 African ingredients: Mongongo, Ximenia & Baobab. These unique ingredients have a combination of Antioxidants, UV protective properties and provide hydration as well as nourishment for various hair types.
What makes the packaging stand-out is that it was designed and manufactured locally from scratch. The bottle and packaging was inspired by African Sculptures, thus making the product proudly South Africa, From inside-out.
Liesl Laurie, Sonia Booth, Dr Reza Mia and Norma Gigaba were amongst the celebrity guests who celebrated the day with industry professionals and leaders. Guests were welcomed with a customised drink from Oude Meester and Monis. The jam-packed goodie bag included; Biosense Daily shampoo & conditioner, Red shampoo & Silver shampoo, Matis & Guinot samples and Ez Bobbles, Pedi vouchers from Matis Fourways & BeautyFix Mist.
The event continued with a few formalities presented by the very charismatic and energetic Twincare International Chief Executive Officer- Stav Dimitriadis and Marketing Manager for Biosense – Meagan Smith. The formalities ended with a fashion show which showcased eccentric hairstyles on models dressed by local designer: Ryan Keys (who has recently dressed, Minnie Dlamini and Nandi Mngoma)
Biosense will retail for R150 for the shampoo & R160 for the conditioner. You can also receive Styling Aids retailing at R150, All will be available at selected Hair Salons nationwide.
