In a recent announcement, economists warned customers to brace themselves for an imminent increase on food prices. This warning comes at a time where South Africa is already currently facing over three million children living with extreme hunger.
In support of the recent World Hunger Day, the Breakfasts For Better Days (BFBD) team visited Nkulisabantu Junior Primary School in Kwa Mashu, Kwa Zulu Natal - a beneficiary of the initiative and got to capture some of the dreams and ambitions of their future leaders.
Breakfasts For Better Days ambassador Keagan Dolly, also shared what his dreams and ambitions were when he was young, having grown up in a similar background. Keagan also shared some advice to future leaders on how they can turn their dreams into a reality.
Whilst supporting World Hunger Day, the initiative understands that hunger is an ongoing issue over three million children in the country are living with extreme hunger which is stunting their mental and physical growth, and their development into adulthood.
