Nomzamo Mbatha and Stella Artois host A listers and the media at Star studded "Let's Do Dinner" event

Actress Nomzamo Mbatha and television presenter Kat Srinivasan delivered on their promise of a networking night with the stars at a dinner event titled "Let's Do Dinner" in Johannesburg. The event, organized by Stella Artois, aimed to showcase and inspire the power of human connection around the table.


Prominent figures from various fields, including actors, authors, singers, artists, and business titans, came together for the event. Among the attendees were Zozibini Tunzi, Lloyiso Ntshongwana, Lasizwe Dambuza, Mihlali Ndamase, Unathi Nkayi, Chef Benny Masekwameng, Melanie Bala, Slikour, Khaya Dlanga, Kwenzo Ngcobo, Holly Ray, Mzukisi Mbane, and many others.

The dress code for the evening was "Stylishly Stella," adding a touch of sophistication and glamour to the event. The evening kicked off with performances by The Muses, an electronic string quartet, and a captivating Afro-fusion performance by ballerina and choreographer Kitty Phetla. DJ Kenzhero and Trio entertained the crowd with Afro-jazz-electronica sounds.

The entertainment continued with a personal show by South African singer and producer JR, who engaged the audience with stories behind his greatest songs. Shekinah followed with an intimate, unplugged performance backed by a guitarist, drummer, and pianist. Mentalist Brendon Peel also entertained the guests with his mind-bending tricks.

Internationally famous South African celebrity chef Reuben Riffel, known for his renowned Reuben's Restaurant and Bar in Franschhoek, Cape Winelands, conceived and prepared the dinner. The menu featured an Ash Crusted Braised Beef Brisket on a canvas of herb and vegetable essence, as well as a show-stopping Chocolate Crème Brûlée dessert with a cherry roasted coffee veil.

This event in Johannesburg followed a similar one hosted in New York City last month, which was attended by actors Ludacris, Zoe Saldana, Matt Damon, Tika Sumpter, Martha Stewart, Ryan Tedder, Jeremy Allen White, and Nomzamo Mbatha.
