Miss Universe SA Bryoni Govender has launched a countrywide advocacy campaign called 'Her Way Out'

Miss Universe SA Bryoni Govender has launched a countrywide advocacy campaign called 'Her Way Out' ahead of her participation in the 72nd Miss Universe pageant.

The campaign aims to educate women on their legal rights and empower them to make informed choices about their lives.

Govender has teamed up with the Social Impact team at global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright to focus on access to justice projects.

She has also been appointed as an ambassador for Lawyers against Abuse (LVA), a public benefit organization that provides legal services and support for victims of gender-based violence.

Govender plans to travel across South Africa, visiting courthouses, legal clinics, schools, and rural community halls to address women and help them understand their basic rights.

She wants to empower all women, regardless of their circumstances, and believes that knowledge is the key to women taking charge of their own destiny.

Norton Rose Fulbright CEO, Brent Botha, explains that the company joined the initiative because they believe in the importance of women's rights.
