A busy mom has revealed how a six-minute workout helped her sculpt defined abs without needing an expensive gym membership.

She looked excited as she reassured women that they can achieve their dream physique even after age 40.

Amy-Jo Simpson (@amyjosimpson) boasts over 2.4 million followers on TikTok, where she gives an insight into her family life.

The mom-of-two took to the social media platform to share a quick set of exercises that have helped her to stay in shape.

The text over the video read: "Who said over 40 women can't have abs?"

She looked in good spirits as she donned a blue hoodie and matching leggings for the fitness session in her living room.

She encouraged viewers to sign up to be a part of her next four-week group challenge before demonstrating her six-minute workout.

The text over the video continued: "Give my six-minute ab workout a try!

"Crunches 30 seconds, slow mountain climbers 30 seconds.

"Cycles 30 seconds and ab tuck 30 seconds."

Amy-Jo suggested repeating the series of exercises three times to work up a sweat and revealed that she would be sharing more workouts on her Instagram account.

She was still full of energy after doing the movements, all of which relied on body weight and used no equipment.

She revealed in a comment that her group challenge teaches the importance of pairing exercise with a good diet.

The post quickly went viral and racked up over 19,000 likes as well as thousands of people saving it to try for themselves.
