South African rapper Cassper Nyovest says he doesn't post images of his expensive belongings on social media to brag, but to inspire the youth.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Cassper said he often receives backlash for posting images of his flashy cars and Rolex watches.
He then made the decision to post less.
"When I put up pictures of my cars and watches its to inspire but I realised that I needed to slow down. People were seeing me as the flashy guy instead of the musician, and I also wanted to let people know how I make my money," he said.
Cassper said he hopes to inspire young people by his success in his career.
"I want to inspire kids to believe that they can change the world."
