The Markex event organiser, Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery, has announced that the dates for the Markex 2015 show which was previously scheduled to take place on 9 to 11 June have been brought forward by one week due to unforeseen circumstances.
The event will now be taking place from 2 to 4 June 2015 at the Sandton Convention Centre.
This is due to the 25th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU Summit), which will be held at the centre over the second week in June this year, meaning that for protocol and security reasons, the halls and other meeting rooms may not be shared by other shows or delegates.
Fortunately, the date change will not impact any of the features that Markex 2015 has to offer, including free-to-attend seminars for the first time; MICE Academy VIP workshops to be run in conjunction with PRISA and EXSA; a MASA Chartered Marketer Breakfast, a CPD accredited breakfast aimed at senior marketing managers and directors; and the new product showcase which will feature the latest and greatest products being launched at the show.
