Woman, 83, who married toyboy, 37, finally reveals how much cash she gave him #GirlTalkZA #Mjolo

A pensioner who married a man nearly 50 years her junior has sensationally dumped him for being a "selfish money grabber".

Iris Jones, 83, began dating Egyptian native Mohamed, 37, after the two started chatting on Facebook in 2019.

Iris and Mohamed decided to get married the following year.

However, their fairy tale union appears to have petered out after the octogenarian slammed her former lover in a lengthy tell-all Facebook post, MailOnline reported.

"We tried to get married, but we didn't have the correct documents," Iris began.

The pensioner described how an official at the British Embassy urged Iris "not to give him [Mohamed] any money", but Jones continued to hand her toyboy lover wads of cash - at one point flying to Egypt to give Mohamed £15,000 personally.

Iris continued: "I had £40,000 in my bank account and I handed over my bank card to Mohamed every day and we were drawing 1000 Egyptian pounds daily.

"This was to pay for living expenses, eating out, a honeymoon in Sharm el-Sheikh and generally enjoying the high life."

Upon returning to the UK, the pensioner discovered that her partner had fleeced her for over £20,000 after telling her she "should have about nine grand in there".
Iris fumed: "He was absolutely correct. £9,000 left of the £40,000.

"Mohamed has never had a job and has never had any money.

"I used to say to people that we shared expenses, but my money paid for everything".

In November 2021, Mohamed obtained a spousal visa and was able to travel to the UK where he was allowed to stay for two years, pending a review in two months' time.

Subsequent hefty hand-outs amounting to £40,000 followed, leaving Iris financially on her knees.
