The Beast and the Legend have been united - and no, it's not a fairy tale or the storyline behind a new action movie. Instead, it's a landmark brand association between world-renowned Springbok rugby player Tendai Mtawarira and the mighty Ford Mustang.
'Beast', as the muscular loosehead prop is commonly known, has been announced as a brand ambassador for Ford Performance, creating one of the most powerful and formidable man-machine combinations ever seen in South Africa.
As the 'face' of Ford Performance for the next six months, Mtawarira will be driving the legendary Ford Mustang, which is the flagship of the brand's local line-up. The Mustang is arguably the world's most famous and iconic automotive nameplate with an unparalleled legacy spanning 52 years and featuring in over 9 000 films, TV shows, music videos and games.
