Award winning South African sports broadcaster and MC, Carol Tshabalala, continues to her expand her foot print in the world of sport. The First Lady of Sport is set to be one of four moderators of the panel discussions at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) forum on the Evolution of African football tomorrow, Wednesday, 15 March 2017, in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia.
Simply Carol is no stranger in moderating panel discussions having previously hosted the FIFA Women's Football Symposium in 2011 and in 2016 as Program Director. The CAF forum on the Evolution of African football will see Tshabalala moderating panel discussions focusing on the social aspect of the beautiful game.
She will also moderate a discussion with a panel consisting of respected individuals in global football, from the international Olympic committee as well as humanitarians.
"I'm excited to be focusing on this aspect of football because part of the discussion includes gender equality and what a great time to continue many conversations we had on international women's day and following various events I have moderated that centre around this theme like the FIFA women's football seminar in Zurich last year," expresses Tshabalala.
Tshabalala will also be hosting the official opening function of the CAF forum on Wednesday with Robert Brazza. The topics that will be discussed at the forum include football and politics in Africa, 60 years of a marriage of passion and reason and future perspectives for CAF.
