They say life begins at 40, right? But what really happens if you
cross 50? Some of us are still very far from reaching that milestone
and we will have to ask those that have climbed that ladder.
Well it turns out one of South Africa's celebrated actors Menzi
Ngubane recently found out that when you cross the 50 lane, surprises
galore with each passing year.
His wife, Siki, treated the former Generations conniving Sbu with a
surprise 52nd birthday party. And to make it all appetizing, Menzi
told Drum magazine that it was his first ever surprise birthday party.
"No one has ever done something like this for me… Never in my wildest
dreams did I expect this," he told DRUM.
Lets get our question from the first paragraph answered shall we - how
does it feel to be 52?
"Man, I'm grateful, a lot has happened in my life and God has shown me
that He loves me."
He's had several health scares over the years, having suffered kidney
failure in 2011 and getting a kidney transplant in 2014.
Menzi attests that it feels great to be 52 and his surely overcome
several challenges in his life. His still one of Mzansi's most
celebrated entertainers.
Who doesn't enjoy watching him in Isibaya or Ashes to Ashes?
