Lerato Modise, despite falling short of her Big Brother Mzansi victory, remains steadfast in her commitment to empowering and upskilling children from her community.
The 33-year-old, known for her advocacy and cultural insights during her time in the Big Brother house, has returned to her roots of child advocacy and mentorship, a passion she has nurtured since 2014.
In a recent interview with Sowetan SMag, Modise emphasized the importance of nurturing young minds and equipping children with the necessary skills to succeed.
Reflecting on her own childhood experiences, she shared, "I've always loved children and the importance of nurturing their little minds. Giving them the necessary skills and tools they need to get ahead has always been the plan."
As an entrepreneur and "activist of goodwill," Modise channels her passion for child advocacy through her initiative, Robotical Learning.
Through this program, she offers chess classes, computer lessons, and tennis practice to children, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds who are often overlooked by society.
