Zola 7 reflects on how prayers gave him hope during his bumpy ride #ThursdayThoughts

Television presenter and legendary kwaito musician Bonginkosi Dlamini, popularly known by his stage name Zola 7 is filled with gratitude as he looks forward to a brighter future.

The musician recently celebrated his 47th birthday. Taking to his Instagram page the birthday boy can be seen happily embracing the festivities of living to see another year.

The video shared on the platform shows him dancing in front of his home while singing to the song of the Canadian rapper Drake, called Blessed.

In the caption of his post, he shared that it was only by God's grace that he is where he is today.

"Today I celebrate life 47 years of God's grace. Four years ago, I was not sure that I would see another day but here I am standing. I am proof that only God decides about your life, not other people.

"Happy Birthday to me ngiyabonga baba. Hola 7," he conluded.
In March last year, many of his most loyal and devoted supporters found themselves heartbroken to discover that the 47-year-old had been in a coma.

This comes after several health complications and doctors revealing that he had the body mass of a 12-year-old.

While promoting his documentary called uMdlwembe in an interview with radio broadcaster Metro FM he shared that it was only prayers that kept him alive.
