Wenzile Madonsela- Msimanga is a name you need to remember. Here is why #GirlTalkZA

Wenzile Madonsela- Msimanga is a name you need to remember.

She is a democracy defender, an activist and in her final year studying towards her LLB and wants to pursue Masters in Human Rights Law next.

She served as the transformation officer at the Black Lawyers Association and is currently Company Secretary and Chief Ambassador at the Thuli Madonsela Foundation which seeks to deepen and defend democracy through concerted dialogues, advocacy, research and training.

At the young age of 20 she had already dabbled in politics too as she served as the General Secretary and then later social welfare officer at the University of Pretoria under the EFF student command. During her term, her branch saw the success of the university workers insourced and transformation policies during "Afrikaans must fall", implemented. She was also involved in the research involved for Advocate T Madonsela's book "Our time: No more tea makers".

While still pursuing her studies, she is committed to her fundamental theory that it takes a community to raise a child. That's why she started a Woman's Leadership Training programme called the "Princess Chronicles" under her and her husbands consulting company Unafundo PTY LTD. The programme seeks to train young woman on self-acceptance, living consciously, acting with integrity, living purposefully, being self-assertive and most importantly adapting into the digital revolution and functioning in a global village.

Wenzile is a hardworking human being – she has learnt the art of when to lead, to follow or accompany like-minded young people.
