Man spends over R1.3 million to become a real life doll

A man spent nearly £60,000 (R1.3 million) to undergo a gruelling surgery that transformed him into a real-life doll.

Patrick Mast went under the knife for five-hours and will spend the next 12 months recovering - but said every penny was worth it.

The 28-year-old German's radical makeover included five separate procedures, all in one surgery.

He had a facelift, a cat eye lift, an upper and under Blepharoplasty and a second lip lift - all with the hope to achieve a flawless doll look.

Pictures from the surgery showed him bloodied and Frankenstein-like as he appeared to be in intense pain on the operating table.

All five procedures were performed under local anaesthesia and will reportedly take a a full year to recover from.

Nevertheless, Patrick told the Daily Star forking out £60,000 was worth it.

Patrick said: "I want to look like a doll or perfectly plastic like a doll.

The German said he became obsessed with plastic surgery at a young age after idolising Hollywood stars.

Patrick claimed he started with Botox in his forehead, which then progressed to a facelift - ultimately leading to his latest drastic procedure.

However, the man said not everyone was onboard with his "unnatural look".

Patrick said: "Most of the doctors in Germany refuse to do any surgery because their view of aesthetics is different, they want it as natural as possible – the complete opposite of what I am looking for.

"I am quite comfortable with the look I have, the goal in my mind has never changed in my whole life. Never say never, but I think it will always be the same."

Despite achieving his goal, Patrick planned to have more work done in the future.

He wants to have a second nose job and is looking for alternatives to a Brazillian Butt Lift.
