singing sensation Nomisupasta has signed a distribution deal with Africori. Finally her award-winning self-titled album Nomisupasta, she is excited about getting her hard work in stores nationwide.
Taking pride on her most precious body of work, Nomisupasta, whose real name is Nomsa Mazwai commented on the deal "I'vespent over 10 years working to get the NOMISUPASTA album distributed. Every time 'With You' or 'Maybe I' played on radio I would sigh depressed about lost sales. In this business, distribution is everything! It is what keeps food on the table for artists!
Like a princess, I kissed many frogs along the way. Many who came with high fees, empty promises and no delivery. I almost lost all hope, I almost threw in the towel but I decided to invest in my career one more time and this time it paid off. The distribution deal I have with Africori is a game changer."
Nomsa Mazwai by day is the General Manager of the Soweto Theatre, where people can now enjoy regular theatre and musical performances, boasting a Masters degree from Fordham University in New York. Nomisupasta is an accomplished entertainer, entrepreneur, business woman, known for her speaking engagements, MCing, live performance, DJ'ing and poetry. She is also a published author. Nomisupasta has worked with the likes of Black Coffee, Manifest, Black Motion, 9th Wonder and Rapsody and Zimbabwean upcoming DJ sensation Vanco.
The Africori deal is the the next step for Nomisupasta as she continues to grow her #SUPA brand and she is thrilled about her future.
