The Warwick Old Vine Chenin Blanc has fascinating aromas #WineReview

The Warwick Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2019 is made from a single Chenin Blanc vineyard planted in 1978 on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg.

These old bush vines have stood the test of time, producing a small harvest of concentrated fruit to produce this exceptional white wine.

This wine oozes baked apple, cinnamon, and ripe stone fruits on the nose.

This tantalizing white wine starts with a steely focus on the nose of lime pith, wet rocks and apple tonic.

The tightly woven palate pops with flavors of chalk, crisp Asian pear and lime peel, riding a zesty acidity deep into the finish.

Long and lingering aftertaste with a creamy finish.

FOOD PAIRING:

Grilled line fish with a buttery sauce and creamy potato mash.
