Actor Aubrey Poo, pictured, made his final appearance on the SABC 3 daily soapie Isidingo last Thursday.
Fans of the long-running soapie were left surprised when Gabriel Mothusi had the gun turned on him by Nina Zamdela, played by Khabonina Qubeka.
"We'll miss the energy of this fluid character," said Isidingo executive producer Pumla Hopa. "Gabriel was a real opportunistic chameleon and slotted into all tiers of our world causing havoc and playing people at their own games.
"We'll forever be grateful to the exceptionally talented and professional that is Poo, who entertained and moved viewers for three seasons on Isidingo."
