It's an old cliché that "money can't buy you happiness" but whoever said "money can't buy you love", probably died broke and single.
This week, fans of 1 Magic's telenovela, "The River" were treated to a wedding extravaganza, arguably one of the most beautiful weddings on since TV since Ranthumeng and Thandaza's majestic wedding on Muvhango.
Viewers will witness some of the emotional roller coaster leading to Zolani Dlamini (Lawrence Maleka) and Tumi Mokoena's (Larona Moagi) special day.
Dubbed one of the highly anticipated weddings, Zolani and Tumi's wedding is like nothing you've ever seen on the small screen in a long time. A boiling pot of different cultures, different backgrounds and economic status.
It's a blend of Mzansi Magic's "Our Perfect Wedding," with venue and decor straight out of the elegance that is Top Billing, with a touch of 'David Tutera's CELEBrations'.
The beautiful bride Tumi dons a showstopper cinderella white gown by Mzansi's favourite fashion designer's Gert Johan-Coetzee. Alongside her, the groom, Zolani is looking dapper in Linda Makhanya creation.
Shot on location at the magnificent Shepstone Gardens, North of Joburg, Tumi's ex-boyfriend Lindani (Lunga Shabalala), tries to stop the matrimonial after some shocking revelations involving his son's paternity and Tumi's soon to be husband.
In spite of the few skeletons jumping out of the closets and of course some broken hearts too, the wedding continues.
Viewers will be treated to the classical Rex Rabanye's "O Nketsang" fused with the trendy Langa Mavuso's "Sunday Blues" (wedding theme song), Sun-El Musician's "Ntaba Ezikude" and "Sonini".

And we all have that one special uncle, who is always drunk and everyone is always guarded just in case he starts to spill some beans on someone.
Then other relatives whom one one is certain if they've been invited or they're just gatecrashing. They make the loudest noise, their clothes and hair will make sure they stand out like a sore thumb but what would life be without these special people in our lives.
The characters are so genuine, and relatable. They deliver their world-class performances with such grace, it's easy to fall in love with each of them.
