Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert surprises school kids in Soweto on #MandelaDay

Reigning Miss South Africa, Natasha Joubert, marked Mandela Day with a heartwarming visit to schools, including Mveledzandivho Primary School in Soweto, as part of the Back to School for Mandela Day initiative. Collaborating with the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation and Adopt-a-School Foundation, Joubert embraced the spirit of Mandela's commitment to education.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the initiative, Joubert shared her plans to engage with the children on essential topics like basic hygiene and sanitation. She also distributed pads and toiletries while delivering a motivational talk to inspire and uplift the students.

During her visit, Joubert actively participated in various activities, including discussions about self-care and lending a hand in painting the library and computer lab. Speaking about the experience, she highlighted the joy of witnessing the children's excitement, emphasizing the profound impact she has as Miss South Africa in inspiring the next generation.

Joubert's dedication to uplifting communities extends beyond her role as Miss South Africa. Her ongoing commitment to supporting educational initiatives was exemplified by the launch of the Natasha Joubert Collective, which awarded bursaries to 31 students from diverse backgrounds across South Africa. She emphasized her unwavering dedication to ensuring accessible education and expanding opportunities for more people, even after her reign concludes.
