Teljoy has been a part of the fabric of South Africa for over 54 years, and many South Africans remember their parents (or grandparents) getting their very first TV through Teljoy on a rental basis.
In those days, you could find Teljoy stores all around the country, before the retailer migrated to a fully-fledged e-commerce retail model.
Fast-forward to 2024, and Teljoy is bringing its product offering and rent-to-own model back to the streets with a brand-new Cape Town store located at 273 Main Road, 3 Anchor Bay, Sea Point.
This store will open on 5 April 2024.
"Although we live in a digital age, there are advantages to a brick-and-mortar store. Customers will be able to physically see and touch the products we offer and speak face-to-face with our sales team who will assist them through the online customer journey," says Teljoy CEO Jonathan Hurvitz.
