Beauty guru finally finds the answer after eight years of struggling with cystic acne


A nutritionist has revealed how she transformed her skin after years of struggling with cystic acne.

She listed six changes she made to her lifestyle which helped to stop her painful and pus-filled pimple breakouts.
 

Steph Robinson (@stephrobinnson) boasts over 108,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares diet advice.

She took to the social media platform to explain how she achieved a flawless complexion after battling with cystic acne.

She shared a snap of how red and sore her skin used to look while revealing that she currently has no pimples.

Steph said: "Here are some crucial things I did that worked and were effective after struggling for eight years with acne."

The beauty guru smiled broadly as a list of things that improved her skin was shared.

The text over the video read: "Stopped taking birth control.

"Healed my gut, fixed my overall digestion.

"Changed my diet and way of eating, balanced out my hormones, and started taking the proper supplements.

"Stopped taking Advil, and antibiotics, got rid of all pore-clogging makeup and skincare products."

She captioned the post: "These things actually saved my skin."

The post went viral with thousands of views and 25,000 likes as people took to the comment section asking for further details.

Many people claimed they had already seen an improvement in their skin since making similar changes to their lifestyle. 

In a follow-up video, she revealed that she stopped using sugary creamers and sweeteners in her coffee.

Biotin, B12, and vitamin D are among the supplements that she takes daily and she eats a protein-rich diet.

She shared a longer list of supplements in another video about healing her skin after struggling with cystic acne.
