Makeup whizz shares the easiest way to banish dark under eye circles - and you don't need a concealer #GirlTalkZA

A makeup whizz has revealed the easy way to banish dark under eye circles and no, you don't need a brightening concealer.

Devon Kelley took to social media to share her unique trick – and it's all to do with matching the colour of your dark under eye circles.

Devon went viral earlier this year after sharing how lash serums dissolved the fat under her eyes causing them to become sunken and dark.

Lash serums that use prostaglandin analogs as an ingredient can cause the skin around the eyes to darken as well as dissolve the fat under the eyes.

In a quest to reduce the appearance of them, Devon has tried many makeup tricks and revealed her bronzer technique worked wonders.

In the clip, she said: "You should be covering your dark circles with bronzer and not a brightening concealer."

The beauty fan explained that brightening concealers can look weird in natural light as they tend to highlight the shadows under our eyes, rather than cover them.

Instead of covering them, she revealed she would match the lighter areas to the darker areas instead.

"So I'm just taking my regular bronzer and put it right in the areas that are lighter than this line that I have," she explained pointing out the deep line under her eye near her nose.

"I'm not gonna put it on that line, but I'm gonna put it below it, too.

"Knock back these bright areas that are making that line look even deeper."

Once she had darkened the lighter parts of her eyes – she then took a normal concealer and used it over the dark line to colour match it even further.

The technique is called the demi method – which focuses on using makeup to colour correct your skin rather than cover it with foundation.

Devon was impressed with how it turned out and her eyes instantly looked brighter.

The clip posted to her TikTok account @devonkelley_ soon went viral with over 420k views and over 30k likes.

People quickly took to the comments sharing their thoughts on the makeup trend.
