YouTube Music is a new music streaming service that offers music videos, official albums, singles, remixes, live performances, covers and hard-to-find music you can only get on YouTube.
YouTube Music is available for free, with ads of course, as well as a premium membership that you gives you background listening, downloads and an ad-free experience for as little as R59.99 a month.
As a welcome offer, and for a limited time only, music fans can get three months of YouTube Music Premium free. Standard rates apply after the first three months.
Google SA Head of Marketing Asha Patel explains that they have a number of features lined up for music fans:
"A home screen that dynamically adapts to provide recommendations based on what you've played before, where you are and what you're doing."
