Kgomotso Christopher scooped her first Safta award on Saturday night. This was in the Best Actress in a TV Soap category, a category she has been nominated twice for before. The third time thus made her lucky.
She beat Nomzamo Mbatha and Dawn Thandeka King to take home the award.
This year, she decided to dress in white, something she has never done.
"I've never worn white on the red carpet, so I wanted to go for a different colour to what I normally wear.
"I always go for colour. This year, I switched it up.
"Like the past two nominations I have had, I had no expectations. I am savouring the moment."
