1. She recently had a sold-out show during her one-woman show at the Opera Theatre, which is housed at Pretoria’s State Theatre.
2. On Friday she makes her debut at the venerated Birchwood Hotel’s Ekurhuleni Comes Alive Jazz Festival as supporting act for Ringo Madlingozi. Mmatema has prepared a Jazz set.
3. By her account she also plays a musical instrument.
