Ridiculousness Africa is a spin-off of the US show that we all love. In the African version, which starts on Thursday, local comedian, Thomas Gumede, TV personality, Boity Thulo, and Nigerian comic, Basketmouth, will dish out the 'laughs' as the hosts.
The month of July can officially be seen as comedy month with start of Ridiculousness Africa as they will have you laughing and shrieking at the jaw dropping level of people’s stupidity, bravery and down right strange and uncanny behavior in front of a camera.
“They asked me if I knew the show and I replied with a question: ‘Duh, who doesn’t know Ridiculousness?’ They asked if I was interested in joining and I didn’t hesitate at all. I’d no reason to say ‘no’ to an opportunity where you watch videos and laugh. The other thing they asked was if I got along with Thomas (Gumede) and I commended them for choosing him. Our energies at the screen test showed that we’d get along,” said Boity.
Ridiculousness Africa will hit your screen this Thursday on MTV (DStv channel 130) at 9.15pm. Get ready for some laughter!
