Doja Cat reveals she has never been to South Africa

Rapper Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, recently revealed in an interview that she has never been to her home country of South Africa.

This admission left many of her fans in disbelief, considering her deep South African roots.

Doja Cat, the daughter of South African actor Dumisani Dlamini, spoke highly of her father in the interview but admitted that she has not had the opportunity to visit South Africa yet.

She explained that she relies on her career to take her to different places, and so far, she hasn't been booked for a performance in her home country.

When asked about her knowledge of the music scene in South Africa, Doja Cat admitted that she wasn't very in tune with it, but her dancers are.

It seems that her connection to her South African heritage is more through her family and upbringing rather than through direct experience.

While some fans were surprised and disappointed by Doja Cat's admission, others understand that long flights can be a deterrent for travel.

It remains to be seen if Doja Cat will eventually make the trip to South Africa, either for a performance or for personal reasons. For now, her career seems to be the driving force behind her travel plans.

In season two of Netflix's tennis series Break Point, Pegula addresses online reports and social media hate regarding her family's wealth.

Pegula's participation in Break Point showcases her quest for more titles and her determination to break her streak of losses in Grand Slam quarter-finals.

While the series primarily focuses on her tennis career, Pegula also sheds light on her family's wealth and their involvement in sports.

With her father's net worth reaching £5.3 billion, Pegula has been labeled as the "world's richest tennis player."

By addressing misconceptions about her family's wealth, Pegula hopes to shift the focus back to her achievements on the court.

John Kani mistakes Stella Dlangalala for Tichina Arnold in new Spar Ad

Spar's new ad campaign has caught the attention of viewers, featuring actors Khaya Mthembu and Stella Dlangalala.

The commercial, a light-hearted skit
about grocery shopping in the middle of the month, has garnered positive feedback.

However, one legendary theatre actor, Dr John Kani, mistakenly believed that Dlangalala was American actress Tichina Arnold, known for her role as Rochelle in 'Everybody Hates Chris'.

Expressing his disappointment on X, Kani tweeted, "Surely they could have found a South African actor to do this advert. I am not angry, I am actually sad."

However, Dlangalala responded to clarify that she is indeed the actress in the ad, stating, "It's me. 😭 My name is Stella Dlangalala, and I am African. I owe my being to the hills and the valleys..."

Upon learning that a local actress had been cast, Kani expressed his relief and happiness. He wished Dlangalala all the best in her career, pleased to support and promote local talent.

Comedian puts a ring on it after pranking girl to say 'i do'

comedian and social media sensation Devon "Devdondidit" Saunders has recently proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Gabriela Bergins. The couple first crossed paths while working together on the Good Hope FM Big Breakfast with Stan Mars.

Devon, known for his humorous songs, jokingly claims that Gabriela immediately fell for him when he performed his famous track, "Don't Koppel Feelings," at an event she attended. Reflecting on their initial meeting, he playfully remarks, "It's ironic because I was singing 'Don't Koppel Feelings' and she still went the opposite and did koppel feelings. I then slid into her DMs, and we flirted from there."

Devon reveals that his proposal plan required some financial preparation. "She has access to my bank account, so I needed to koppel another account to save up," he chuckles. The couple decided to book a date at a spa in the Waterfront, a special location for them. Devon explains, "We have this thing called a 'Day Uit,' pronounced 'Date,' which is a quirky thing we do in our relationship."

On the day of the proposal, after enjoying a couple's massage, Devon excused himself from the room while Gabriela indulged in a facial. He then made his way to the poolside to prepare for their big moment, filled with excitement and nerves.

The couple's engagement is a testament to their love and commitment to one another, and it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives.
