Bidvest Wits say they have no plans of selling their captain Thulani 'Tyson' Hlatshwayo amid rumors linking him to Orlando Pirates.
Speaking on POWER Sport Extra, club chief executive officer Jose Ferreira says there has not been any contact from Pirates for the 28-year-old defender.
"I have had nine or 10 meetings with Dr Irvin Khoza involving a number of players and issues. At no stage has there been an approach for Thulani Hlatshwayo. Nobody has approached us and if anybody approaches us, he is not for sale."
While Wits have stated their intention of keeping Hlatshwayo after the former Ajax defender renewed his contract last season, Ferreira did acknowledge the unpredictability of the transfer market.
